Mandy

The uppipe is the part between the exhaust manifolds and the turbo. On the MY01+ WRX it replaces a section fitted with a catalyst - you will get noticably more power with a decent safety factor. The downpipe is the part after the turbo.

The one downside - isn't there always one - is that fitting is a bu66er - takes me about 2 1/2 hours and I've done it a few times. First time around it can take 4 hours +, and requires a decent range of tools. If you aren't fitting it yourself, get a quote from a decent specialist.

Deep,
I think you're a little out of order postin on Si's thread trying to sell your own system!!!
In fact,a guy I know was interested in buying your backbox and you told him you'd sold it and now you're saying that you have the full system for sale.Confused,I am!!

Free BTTT for Si anyway!!! (Si - Thought Zippy might have snapped your hand off on this one!!) lol

Cheers

Yea I was the guy, you had brought it off Deep.

Then he sent me an email last night saying he does not wanna sell it or he wants to hang on to it.

What is that all about!

Angry

Hold on a second.Firstly I apologised to Si for hijacking his thread and stated CLEARLY that I had a system for sale for all those who did'nt buy his uppipe.Only one person can buy it and there were about four interested. If I've caused offence to Si I apologise again.
Nick Adams please get your facts straight before getting so worked up.Big Amo agreed to buy the exhaust which I knocked down to a VERY cheap price. On the basis of this sale I ordered my bespoke system.Amo then mails me telling me he has had an accident in his car and the guy who rear ended him is paying for half a new exhaust. So only wants part of it.I then CANCEL my exhaust because I wont have the funds.Amo then mails be back saying he has changed his mind and wants all of it again!! By this time I've had enough and decide not to sell it to him.Why did'nt you mention this in your post Amo?????????
Now I've taken up enough of Si's thread. The only reason I've gone into it in such detail is that I did'nt like the undertone that was being pushed in about my character.
I will repost the sale of my system seperately once Si has successfully sold his.

No offence taken m8.
The up-pipe is provisionally sold, but I still have a downpipe and centres for a bugeye, plus a CEL fix.
Also have a 6x4 Oval Magnex, only done a thousand miles, for a classic.

Nick Adams please get your facts straight before getting so worked up
Who's gettin worked up?????? lol Not me,I was stating the obvious.Does it really sound like I'm gettin wound up from my post??????? Nah....
In fact,it wasn't Amo that I was talkin about. It was another guy up in this part of the country (Cheshire) that was gonna do a deal on your backbox. You asked him how he was gonna collect etc,etc and then you let him down and now you have it up for sale yet again .I really think you should make your mind up whether you're sellin or not!!
End of story!!

Thanks Nick - Yes the mysterious BB buyer was me ! I confirmed with Deep that I was OK to pick it up locally and never heard anything more for a day or so. Deep your customer service is pretty poor but I accept that your reason for sale withdraw was valid. BUT then as above - it appears its back on the market ! Confused we all are!

Look, lets not get into a pickle over this I'm sure none of us come on here to argue/antagonise.I thinks there has been a mix up.I d'ont remember agreeing a sale with you(Russ)but remember a mail from you thinking I had.Maybe I mailed you by mistake when trying to mail someone else.I'm not quite sure what has happened, if its my mistake I concede. It is never my intention to mess people around on here.I definately am not going to mess people around over a few quid and some metal pipes!
Nick, I was not trying to have a dig mate but felt things were being implied about me which I hate in others so was a bit cheesed off.Anyway can this be the end of this as I'm taking up more of this guys thread with my waffling.Deep.

Yeah come on guys, this is a public message board, if you have a problem why don't you mail each other directly rather than bad mouthing people publicly. Particularly when you are not even directly involved.

cheers

Sale agreed on downpipe and CEL fix.
It seems my contribution to this thread has reached its natural conclusion, unless anyone wants to buy the 6x4 Oval for the classic, or the mid sections for the bugeye.
