I am thinking of selling the P1 and leaving the Subaru marque for a while I may be back!

The car is a cracker. I hate to use the phrase mint, but she really is in fantastic condition. No dents on any panels, probably due to diligent parking and colour coded door protection strips. The front lip spoiler was resprayed under warranty a couple of weeks ago, due to me being unhappy about stone chips (and mine was not bad compared to some I have seen). No marks on the bonnet edge either. Car is WR spec minus the Alcon brakes. So electric Prodrive Recaro seats, HID driving lights, 18" OZ anthracite alloys with tyres replaced under warranty some 5k miles ago. Scoobysport exhaust and downpipe replaced the Prodrive P1 exhaust . Barrier Deadlock security (Locks in reverse) and OEM Trackstar. Quality Sony CD headunit. Crystal clear front and side indicators. Regularly papmered with Waxwizard products. Bumpsteer mod also carried out at Powerstation.
ALL receipts and docs available.

Registered in Aug 2002 'W', with a very low 19500 miles. Remainder of warranty outstanding which can be extended by dealer. Supplying dealer knows me and the car well and always service her. Always warmed up and cooled down. Always run on Optimax and Castrol RS oil. Never tracked .

Please email me or telephone 0771 219 1888 for the price or any other questions you may have.
Pictures can be emailed.

Thanks

Paul

Lol 3, 12, 17, 23, 34, 37 and 42 . Pirelli produced tyres in 18" spec for the P1, they then started to crack on the inside walls of the tyre. Pete Croney first highlighted the problem to me when he had the same issue. My dealer spotted it on a service. Voila 4 new tyres under warranty

Email should work now. Sorry guys

I would like to put a price here but I don't want to open a debate and argument as usually happens now on this BBS.
Please don't hesitate in contacting me by email or phone though.

Richard, I can email you photos but don't know how to post them here.

Paul,

How did you manage to get the front spoiler re-sprayed under warranty? Mine looks like it's been pebble dashed!!

Any way BTT for Ya!!

Steve,

I went to my local dealer on a service and asked them to take a look at the lip as I was not happy with the number of stone chips on a car that has only covered 15000 miles. I then told them I wanted them to place a warranty claim with IM.

They took pictures, emailed them to IM and 3 months later I had an approval. It only took so long because I was out of the country for a while and not able to progress matters then IM complained that the pictures taken weren't good enough so had to go back for more to be taken. Got there in the end .

Try your local dealer, bad paint on the spoilers is a known problem.

Thanks for the info. I spoke to my dealer today and he said he would look into it. Also the tyres, had them changed once, and now the cracking is happening again. So hopefully I'll get another set soon.

Good luck in selling the car.

Thanks. I better go and have a look at the inside edges again now. Sounds like Pirelli may not have fixed the problem.
