PPP for MY01/New Age
#2
So there is only warrenty if you buy it directly from an official subaru dealer? I didn't know that!
I have a certificate of a professional Prodrive ECU fitment and only read that the PPP won't affect the warrenty in England.
So i will keep it, because it would be a great waste of money to sell the Prodrive ECU+restrictor for 400 Pounds. 600 is the minimum for me.

It's only £1600 fitted new. That is with a certificate and warrented by the dealer. I doubt the ECU would sell for £800 as Ecutek is only about £600 and thought to be better.

For people who think the ECU is only worth 200 Pounds. Look at this!

So i think it is worth 500 Pounds!
Last offer was 400.....

Whilst I can appreciate your point and the value of the ECU to you, The main reason for buying the PPP is to maintain the Subaru Warranty. Pound for Pound Ecutek is much better VFM and only costs £500 + VAT. IMHO that is a better way to go. PPP is good if fitted by Main Dealer to maintain warranty.
You may also find that your ECU is set up for different emmisions etc as it's non UK.

Spoken to my dealer & he has stated unless it is fitted by a dealer, the warranty is void.
So if anyone was to go for this options an ecutek would be a more viable option. + it uses the standard ECU.
