Had it for a couple of weeks but its far too complicated for me.

All singing, all dancing new smartphone running windows pocketpc Smartphone edition.

I think it can even make toast but i'll be buggered if i can figure it out

Complete with case, camera, charger, software etc. In 'as new' condition.

Looking for about £250 (SIM Free)

Sorry for sounding thick. But if it is SIM free does that mean that you can stick any network SIM into it?? Also does it matter if it is a Pay as You Go SIM or does it have to be a contract SIM??

Cheers

Its locked to Orange although I think they can be unlocked.
Will work fine with an orange sim and should work with a pay as you go. However, the beauty of this phone is the permanent connection via GPRS which isn't available on pay as you go, as far as i am aware.

Not necessarily - I changed from a Motorolla v66 to Ericsson T68 but the Sim card from the V66 causes the T68 to behave in a strange way - spoke to Orange yesterday and they told me the the Orange sim cards are registered to the phone and some functions etc might not work correctly - by functions they mean you can't make calls (sometimes !!!)

Another way for Orange to rip you off (I'm sure they charge for replacement sims) - in the name of offering a secure service of course.

Anyway - SPV too complicated for me too - bttt

As the SPV was made solely for Orange at the moment the phone cannot be unlocked & if it was to be unlocked a lot of the functions would be useless opn other networks.

There are various newsgroups and forums that report successfully unlocking the SPV. I have no first hand knowledge of thie though, other than what i've read.
