Mr Maj - Don't have any pictures I'm afraid - will try to take some tomorrow if I can find a camera. I'm sure you can find a visual on the net. It looks like new as it pretty much is.
Been advised to sell it as a re-circ will better suit the mods I am planning.
May be attending the meet tomorrow night at the Ace Cafe. Where are you from?

That's the fella.
I also have the blanking plug (bung) and alternative spring.
Will still try to email those of you that have requested pictures later just to prove mine is still clean and shiny.

Forge did tell me when I requested the softer spring it could cause idling issues if used instead of the spring supplied. Never had a problem on my car with either spring though - they just made completely different noises. Both the red and the blue will be supplied with the dump valve.

Hmmmm..... you were genuinely interested on buying something, you had heard, makes your car idle badly. 
I didn't set out to offend anyone. I don't, however, think this is really the right place to start questioning the pros and cons of a dump valve. There is always someone with horrific story they once heard, involving someone they don't know, that they can't wait to repeat. I don't think encouraging these sort of posts in the For Sale forum will help anyone.

You see, I want a dump valve as I want the car to sound better but at the same time I don't want the behaviour of the car compromised (i.e. not being able to idle).

So asking you who has had it on the car, same year as mine, and knowing you had no problems makes me consider about buying one without worrying about the consequences. And why buy a new one when there's one, almost new, and a lot cheaper?

I think 'right time and place' was more my point but I will live with my loss. Try a search ffs.

£95 posted or £90 collected.
Only 2 months old. Has all the bits it came with including blue and red springs. You choose whether to have the WRC chatter or the wooooOOOSH and flames.
All in perfect condition.

Does the car idle properly with a dump valve? I hear that a lot of cars don't idle properly because of dump valves. Can someone please clarify on this?
