It attaches to the windscreen quite happily and the IPAQ ends up at the left hand side of the dash console, between the centre dash box and the main gauge pod.
The neck is about 4 inches or so long and has an adjustable pivot on each end which can then be locked. The pivot at the IPAQ end can be moved to either be attached top right, top left or centre depending on where you want it.
The holder will take the IPAQ with any of the current sleeves from the supplied protector to the PCMCIA sleeve.
