as title, complete bottom end, only done 4000miles, ready to fit and run.

EJ20 with 0.25 overbore, cosworth pistons, genuine subaru big end and main bearings.
it is also a closed deck block, so can handle a bit of power.

due to the lightweight pistons, can rev safely to 8000rpm too.

pistons and rings cost £850, rebore & hone was £100, lightened flywheel is orignal one machined to 8.4kgs, balanced too, cost £100. bearings cost about £100 - 150 set, cant remember off hand.
then theres the block which is worth hundreds.

* got all receipts for parts/rebore to prove cost *

what is this worth please?

thanks
ian

What about the rods?

Also, who built the engine?

Out of curiousity, why did you not fits uprated rods?

mad4it, purely down to cost mate, done other mods at the same time, so couldnt afford to buy the rods. no other parts were skimped on though. rods are perfect cond too.
another reason is that my engine only revs to 7000rpm due to the heads.

david, lol, nothing now mate, selling all modded bits and getting rid of the car, finally got sick of the fuel consumption.....dad wont let me keep another car (ie diesel) on the driveway, so its gotta go.
gonna buy a 306 turbo diesel.

cheers

On behalf of Bryan as i'm sure he's not at a pc at the moment and he's a mate. His car currently has his old engine in it which I believe needs 2 new pistons. He's after a closed deck block with uprated internals so this one would be perfect & i'm sure he's looking to offload his old engine. It's a MY95WRX engine. Drop him a mail or call him as he's anxious to get his car back on the road and has the cash to back it up. He's told me that he could have the cash in your hand & collect the new engine by Friday if you're interested

Mail him at bryan.mobbs@virgin.net (home) or Bryan.Mobbs@uk.fidelity.com (work)

Cheers
