Blackbushe is a good choice for flight training. It has 2 schools, I would reccomend the one next door to Biggles cafe. It is also well positioned, not being too close to Heathrow zone, it is also easy to find from the air, a bonus when you are learning.

Blackbushe was the scene of my first solo - fond memories in general apart from one dodgy donk incident last year.
Not to be confused with Farnborough though.
Good luck with the car.

Always had hairy arsed bloke instructors unfortunately. The donk decided to quit during climb out on 26 ( I think, can't remember the orientation there) over the car auctions at around 700ft. Just managed to glide back on a very tight left hand circuit - made me think about life in general for a few seconds.

This car needs to be sold. Most of my flying is from EGKR. Went to Le2K today for the first time today which was interesting sharing the circuit with an Airbus doing ILS. You should get yourself on PPRuNe if you're not already on it.
Once again, good luck with the car.
