It's about time I got round to selling this. It's been sitting in my garage since I bought my Scooby...looks a bit mucky in the pic, but it was taken on the Rally GB.
It's a 1997 on 'R' plate, in Kiwi Yellow (rally team colour, bit lairy). It's the lightweight rally homologation version, which basically means there's no aircon, no sunroof and not a lot of soundproofing, but gets the weight down to about 950 kgs. It also means that it has larger (280mm) brakes and other odds and sods like alloy sump.
Spec:
Approx 165bhp
Supersprint single box exhaust system
280mm crossdrilled front brakes, with EBC Green Stuff pads
ABS
EDS
Traction control
Half leather interior with F2 World Champions inserts
16" Ronals with 195/46/16 Yokohama AVS Sports
Sparco pedals (make it go faster )
It's got a high mileage (92k) but all been done cruising up and down the motorway on business. Full history.
Absolute scream to drive, and cheap to run. Looking for offers around £3800.

Danny Boy,
I have just finished fixing you old Ibiza Cupra 20VT. It had a running problem that you knew about, the turbo looseing all boost pressure at 5000rpm. Finaly found the problem after a lot of hunting, when you refitted the original air filter housing after removing your induction kit, you managed to partially block the air intake pipe to the filter housing. The air intake pipe passes through a cutout in a peice of sponge inside the wing, only when you refitted yours it only butted up against the sponge partialy blocking the intake.
It's a small world, Colin.
