MY96 4 door for sale
#1
Parkers guide says :
A1 : £7200
GOOD : £6710
FAIR : £4820
TRADE :£5795
Registered December 1996, so on a P plate. ECU remap by David Wallis, who tells me it should be good for 260-280bhp. Would take 10 minutes to put back to standard - one wire to re-solder and a chip to pull out. Its got a BPM Twister back box on at the moment, 3.5 inch tailpipe - sounds fantastic which is why I bought it, and with the ECU upgrade I had done its 2/3rds of the PPP kit. Standard back-box is 18 months old and is in the garage. That goes with it too, as does a set of broze coloured 15" Suaru alloys, all with tyres with loads of tread on. There's also a Baileys VTA dump valve in a box in the dining room that can go with it. Makes a great noise, but I took it off to clean it up and havent put it back on.
Clifford concept 300 cat1 alarm/immobiliser with 2 remotes. Metallic green 4 door, mid level spoiler, gold 16" alloys, 56,600 miles, leather interior, sony flip front CD player (3 years theft cover, bought about October 2002) 4 brand new Bridgestone potenzas in January, less than 1000 miles old, full service history, due a 6 month oil change but I paid a fortune for the oil in summer when it was last done and its not done 2500 miles since, so I havent booked it in qite yet, but will do it shortly for piece of mind more than anything else.
Had cambelts etc done at 44k at the dealers when I bought it in September 2000, so no nasty 60k expensive service required for cambelts
Actually I think Ive got a pic here...
Its got some stone chips, some parking dents, and three scratches on the rear n/s passengerdoor cos its been used every day by the wife for work, shopping etc etc.. Shes regularly waxed and polished it with Wax Wizard stuff from Scoobynet cos she loves it, thats why she wants another subaru, and thats why Im selling - time to upgrade to a newer model.
I suppose its worth around £6500 looking at the price guide. I cant claim its A1, but its not any worse than good and its got less than average miles on (average mileage being 12k per year, all the other P reg ones Ive seen for sale have 70-80k on them), and has had a very easy 2 1/2 years ownership by us. I also met the previous owners, and they are a family in their thirties like us who used it as a second car, it wasnt a boy racer mobile.
Im the sort of bloke who wouldnt sell a car with a problem, and Id never let her drive it with our son in if it wasnt %100 sorted.
Anyone interested at all?

Im sorry Scott. Hope you find what you are looking for soon.
I hope you understand why I accepted the first offer. If for any reason it falls through and they dont come back to me with the cash (and I get to keep the deposit ) I'll chase you up immediately.
