Hey RaZe,
Only conversion I had to make was to add MPH to the speedo because at home we obviously use km/h. I just went to subaru for a replacement item which, with the digial speedo you can do, and that sorted the km/h - mph issue.
The SVA was no problem because in Australia we get UK spec. Impreza's so the rest was the same as yours basically (this is also why my warranty is still current here in the UK). Maybe there is the extra side intrusion bars inside the doors which are a road safety / crash test requirement but that is it as far as I am aware.
I am told that we 'apparently' get a few more 'horses' than you guys but since I have never put mine on the rollers I couldn't tell you. That also could be the likes of Maffa and Dyney making up excuses for the fact that their rather modified cars seem to go backwards when I step on the gas.
I am sure they'll have something to say about that though, that is when they finally get out of bed after last nights blinder for Maffa's birthday.
As far as a pram in the boot goes ... Well thats not a mod I have attempted as yet. The ICE isn't to bad, it is fixed (the AMP) to the back of one of the rear seats and the 12 stack takes a bit of space as well but to be honest, I hardly notice it.
I had the install done professionally so consequently it is pretty well hidden (all the cabling and stuff) and the speakers have been mounted in doors and where the factory ones were initially. Not that much to it really.
Anyway, sorry for the essay but there you have it. Cheers for the comments though.

I have owned my ‘Scoob’ since new and can guarantee that it is in pristine condition with a Full Factory Subaru Service history.
It has had 5000 km oil changes outside the factory servicing interval as well as stacks of other ‘tricky bits’ added. Short of the Scooby Sport exhaust and the ITG Panel air filter there are no engine / drive train modifications due to warranty restrictions.
The original mid pipe and back box exhaust have been retained and will be included.
# First Bought / Registered : September 2000.
# Factory Warranty to September 2003 – 6 Months UK warranty remaining.
# Taxed for another 6 months.
# Colour : Red Mica.
# Mileage : 18000 (Yep, only comes out when it’s not raining & that’s not often around here...)
# Custom Momo leather and Suede (Newbuck) Interior.
# 17” ‘Night Star’s with Dunlop Formula 101’s 215/45.
# Paragon Window Tinting.
# CAT 1 Alarm / Immobiliser plus a few other security related 'bits'.....
# Scooby Sport Exhaust & ITG Panel Air Filter.
# Blitz dual idle timer / boost gauge with automatic idle and peak boost record (Digital).
# Competition ICE – Pioneer Head Unit (with Dedicated SUB out & built in crossover), 12 stack Pioneer CD Unit with buffering, Alpine x 4 Channel AMP. All Pioneer top of the range speakers with splits.
# Autobahnd Paint Protection System – A film applied to stop stone chips ... Invisible. Similar to Armour Fend I have been told.
# Factory headlight & fog lamp covers & moulded front and rear WRX floor mats.
# Factory Tow bar (for towing the JetSki .....)
Price ..... I’m asking £12900 or offers around that price.
I hear an Sti 8 calling .....
Any questions or comments happily received.

Its very nice but a bit too expensive for me.
Is the speedo in mph? I assume youve had it "converted" to pass all the SVA stuff.
And how much boot space does all that ICE take up? I need enough room for a pram in the boot

Thanks Steve, ScoobyDuck & Gills Fan - comments muchly appreciated.
Nice to know all the hard work that goes into keeping a car in top condition doesn't go un-noticed.
Cheers,
Marcis

Marcis is ana1 about this car, if it's in the garage all week it still comes out at the weekend for a wash and polish
And as for Maffa and I going backwards when you "step on the gas"!
Unlikely as he never takes it past 2k revs
This is a seriously cool car for an Aussie used to pick ups and big V8's
Iain.

Hi Danny,
Currently on a V reg due to DVLA error but they are aware of their mistake and are in the process of changing this to an X Reg at the moment (so they tell me).
I am expecting a new 'X' Reg. plate this week, or at least that is what has been promised to me.
How they got this wrong I will never know but there you have it. I figured that if the compliance plate says 08/00 and thats when it was first registered it couldn't be any simpler than that.
GO figure .....

Here are a couple more pictures of my car.
Another interior shot (not the greatest ...).
One showing the ICE in the boot (for RaZe's benefit).
And the last one showing a very clean engine !!! ;-)
I am open to all reasonable offers so if you are interested then please let me know.

Tah mate, thanks for the comments.
I spend a lot of time keeping my car in the showroom condition it is in. I am just about to roll it out of the garage for the Sunday morning clean & then head off to the Surrey meet.
Can't be turning up to a meet with an unclean car now can I .... ;-D

Would it matter to insurance co's that it is a Aussie Import?
AFAIK if it originates from outside of Europe the premiums are more expensive than UK/EEC(but UK spec)cars?
Is this true?
Cheers & BTTT

Did I happen to mention that as an Australian WRX, my car has the 260 BHP engine as standard ??? That definately explains a few things ...
Didn't know this myself until yesterday. That from the 'Impreza Oracle' himself - thankyou Mr Tang !!! :-D
