I am selling my beloved FTO to buy a newer reg and higher spec (read "faster") FTO GPX! Yes I luv em that much!
My current P&J is:
M reg Mitsubishi FTO GR Coupe, Passion Red (sad name but gets loadsa looks!!), 190bhp, Tiptronic Gearbox, Electric folding Mirrors, Central Locking, CD Player/Radio, Power Steering, Black Diamond drilled and grooved front disks with Green stuff pads, powerflow twin exit exhaust, (thats one pipe on each side, looks great, gonna miss that!). Inside I have installed Aluminium Dial Rings and also put in new faces which glow red at night. Also just installed a new airhorn instead of the standard Mitsi one.
I live in Livingston so would be happy to meet anyone who is genuinely interested in the car at a suitable location or in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling etc (hey...I love to have an excuse to drive somewhere!!)

Cheers

Thanks for passing it on m8. Theres not a massive amount of difference between the GPX and GR...most ppl say the GR is actually the better car for modding. And u r talking maybe 10BHP difference....
I think 7k is a damn good price! Yes you can get them on ebay for less but how well have they been looked after and what condition are they in! Mackay and Calder both do M plates for 8-10k!! And you won't find many with the exhausts like mine! Plus Marc at The Garage in Wishaw has done my upgrades and servicing....and he knows his FTO's!
It prob is me driving round Bathgate...I pop along at the weekends and see whos hanging about Room at the Top etc...like a mini solo cruise lol

had a GPX Mate more exspensive to maintain my altinator packed in cost me 300 bucks for a reconned one then the ecu gave up and i had no mivec system so it was not reving past 4.500 they do have better brakes but they warp faster and fade more then the GR knocky suspention drop links at the back again because it a diffrent set up..not trying to put you off as you have a GR and know what the car is like but just make shure you get a good one!!!and to get that you might have to pay 12 to 13.000 in that case get a SCOOBY
i sold mine and got a scooby its cheaper than the FTO and it can blitz anything (not the FTO`s strong point more like wheel spin and more wheel spin)
just my veiw good luck

Jo as in Rockstar? Silver FTO with big spoiler etc...down in Leith Links most days hehe
I did the droplinks on my car recently and will be watching out for it on any potential new one...looking at 2 GPvR at the mo...good prices too....and one is black facelift ver so not many of them about! One of them is also an Aero series!
I know the sorts of things to look out for so I am confident I'll get a good one....but ta for the advice tho.
Thinking about just getting a really good service and hanging on to it for a bi now as theres been no interst...and I keep looking at it and driving it thinking "I love this...I'll just keep it a bit longer" lol
I know it's nothing terms of acceleration compared to a scoob but I just felt the scooby was a bit old fashioned inside (well the M reg ones I was looking at when I bought the FTO) nd the FTO had a wee bit more wow factor. Which has certainly proved true

Well, who knows...
I've sent a link to my friend who is after an FTO and lives just beside Livingston.
He's had a look at your ad and told it's a bit overpriced and he wants a more powerful version anyway to not have to upgrade in the nearest future.
Now he is in the process of getting an FTO with one well-known importer Andy.
