Ok, here goes
MY99 UK Turbo (with Prodrive extra's)
Its was registered Dec 98 on an S Plate, but is the facelift MY99 model. Missed out an being a 99 by a few days! I am the 3rd owner, with the 2 previous from scoobynet. The car is immaculate, and the service records are spot on. It had the 45k (cam belt) done on time rather than miles, and I have just had the 60k completed. Selling as im moving to a place in town with no garage / crap parking and im scared of peasants scratching it
It has about 3 pin size dents on the doors, hardly visible, and a couple of scratches on the interior. Discs and pads have about 40% meat left. Apart from that its A1!
46k miles
Dark Blue Mica
Full Subaru history, apart from the 60k, where I used a reputable rally / motorsport place
Colour coded mirrors and skirts
Prodrive 17" PD7's with 1 month old Toyo's
Prodrive quickshift
Prodrive driving lights (with STi replica covers)
STi genuine boost gauge
Subaru side protectors (not shown on pic)
Momo carbon gearknob
Scoobysport backbox
Kenwood Mask CD headunit
JBL speakers front and rear
MOT til Jan04
Tax til July
Subau CAT1 Alarm / immobiliser
Barrier deadlock - this exact car was used in the ad!
Private plate (non scoob related)
HPI clear
(When it had the wing)
I dont want views on the price and im not selling any bits
£10,500 no offers

BTTT for my old car
I can confirm that i'm the original owner of this car I got it new from Bell and Colvill and then sold it to a friend of mine who then sold it to Mark!
Run in properly and lovingly cared for by me!
You will not find a better classic

I'm VERY interested but I've got to wait for some money to come through at the moment. Hopefully this should be sorted within the next couple of weeks.
Have you got any other photos you can mail me?
Also, I take it as it's a very late '98 that it has the Momo wheel etc ('scuse my ignorance but as you can see from my profile I'm a Scooby newbie!)
No hint of piston slap I take it? (yet again, no offence intended, I'm just feeling my way along at the moment) :-)
Any more info you can give me would be great, also I'm only in Sussex so not a million miles from you..........

Mark's car is one top motor, I went with him to look the car over when he bought it, it is a '99 model so it has the later phase 2 engine, which doesn't suffer from piston slap, and yes it has the later Momo steering wheel, just buy it, you won't regret it
Oh, and BTTT

Thanks for that Glen, believe me if I get the cash I need then I will be buying it, in fact I've thought of nothing else all day (well, nothing else if you don't include sex, which of course being a man I think about every 2 seconds so basically I have thought about the Scooby every other second!) LMAO!!!!!!!!

Hi Darran,
Sorry for the delay! I will mail some more pics on Monday when im back at work. As Glen says, its a MY99 so different shape to the MY98, and phase 2 engine. The MY99/00 cars don't seem to have any inherent faults that the earlier ones had. This one had an uprated P1 clutch fitted under warranty too, so no clutch judder!
Its in the autotrader at the mo for a bit more than advertised on here.
(forgot to add it has headlight protectors )

Mini no comment
Im going for an Integra Type R - I did think of the Civic but it looks a bit too van like! Great reviews though. I have found a nice one local to me. I could do with a bit of change from mine to justify selling it.

Integra is a nice car
Had a Civic Type R for 5 months inbetween scoobs, nice car and very quick, traction (or lack of it!) in the wet was interesting though
At least you get the LSD with the Integra
