Thought I would put up a fresh post.....

No. 61/555
60,000 miles
Full Jap history
New cambelt fitted
Toad ai606 cat 1
Mot dec 03 tax july 03
Sva certificate

It has all the usual bits like diff lock, water spray etc. etc.
I imported it therefore only run on optimax. The car is in very good condition and has obviously been looked after, there is no signs of any accident damage i.e original matt paint under bonnet and bootlid.

Rather than putting up an asking price, now the bottom price is 10k....no more no less.

Thanks for the comments guys, I agree about it being too cheap.....I can't work it out if they are not worth this kind of money then why would people bother putting them up for 14k in autotrader. I waited ages for this car to come along, the right colour, special edition, facelift model, history, I mean what do people want?

I don't mind waiting for the right person to buy this but I cannot stand all the people arranging to come and look then not turning up, its very rude and ignorant.

When I was looking for this car I really wanted a white one but everyone said don't buy a white scooby cause no one will want it. I had someone very interested in this a couple of weeks ago all set to come up then a White WRX got posted up for sale....guess what he went for that instead.

Anyway rant over.

Excuse my ignorance but can i just ask what reg plate it is (r/s ??), and if the side skirts and front rear valances are standard as my friends got a type 'ra' and it doesnt have any sill at all unlike my uk turbo. What does my98 stand for aswell as i'm fairly new to this techincal jargon

Those are aftermarket skirts. The RA has no skirts, as it's the rawest form of Impreza, and has no fancy bits. This is a v-limited though, meaning it does have a few refinements.

& MY98 means manufacturer year 1998 but it's not an exact science on that front as 4 eg sum made in 97 will be MY98 if that makes sense, i think lol

Yeah, MY is supposedly the manafacturing year, but is taken more as the model year, so some MY98s were made in late 97, but were the 98 spec, if you get me.

And from looking at the pictures, I'm guessing it's an R, although Darren may tell you different..
