It has it's own screen that displays the information - the whole unit is slightly bigger than a mars bar - have a search around the net for pictures.

Hi Demon Dave,

There is an optional alarm unit, the - AL-100

The alarm unit adds warning sound and light feature to MDM-100

Hi Daz,

It has velcro fastenings to attach it to anywhere in the car - I had it mounted on the dashboard.
