17" gold OEM alloy wheels from an STi8.
Tyres have delivery milage only and wheels are totally unmarked.
Looking for £700
Would rather these are picked up from North London (Enfield area) as they are heavy

Philip,
If none of these clowns come up with a decent offer, you might try the US boards, as they appear to be either expensive or difficult to get over there. I think one of them has posted something in Wanted.

I would like to point out that the tyres are worth more than the offers so far![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Philip,
It's up to you what you want to accept for the wheels, but IMHO there are always a few 'chancers' after a bargain (which is fair enough), and a few other sets have sold at the price you're after (including mine), so it's probably worth waiting until you get an offer a bit closer to your figure. As you say, the offers you've had so far are pretty much the cost of the tyres.
There were a couple of guys in the US after my wheels, but I'm afraid my internet machine crashed a few weeks back, and I lost my emails. However, a friend of mine contacted a couple with a view to selling them his, so I'll see if he's still got their details. The shipping wouldn't be too bad if you just sold the wheels, and I'm sure you could offload the tyres here. Mail me if I haven't got back to you in the next day or so.
Bugeyed,
It's not the thread I was thinking about, but he's offering that for the wheels alone.
Zippy,
Backbox not overpriced, just one or two overly enthusiastic bids. Sold now anyway, for my asking price, so I'm afraid the title's still yours.

The market is a constantly changing thing. A few years ago, 16" wheels were much in demand, and people paid high prices for them. Then along came the late "classic" models and the MY01+ with 17" wheels, and the price for 16" wheels dropped substantially. Now we have a situation where the USA market currently has only 16" wheels, but from the end of the year will have a 2.5 litre engined STi with 17" wheels. So what will happen to the price then? Equally, how long before STi8s have 18" wheels as standard?
