This is "The Daddy" of induction kits...

Brand new on 15/11/02 from performance subaru for £189-00 has not done very many miles and should be good for 100,000 according to the manufacturer (K&N) (This is not the little 571 K&N filter)

Is the option one kit from performance subaru for classic shape is very easy to fit, and performance subaru say they have had no maf problems (They guarantee MAF will be OK), dry type filter, bolts directly onto front of maf, took 20 mins to fit and gives 6 to 10 bhp (their figures) basically its a high performance large funnel filter with a bell mouthed aluminium adapter to "aid" laminar flow, it fits very tightly in the area where the old standerd air box was. No brackets needed because it fits so tightly. Makes a very nice 'whoosh' too aswell as noticable increases in performance.
As for fitting your year of car, well it is classic ? air box on drivers side wing ? if yes then I imagine it will

Cheeky indeed but it was an excellent induction kit...am missing it as I'm on the standard box again for a while as I need to save my pennies for child no2 which is due anytime - The car needs a bigger turbo, down pipes for the engine to the sccoby sport turbo back system and larger injectors - along with brain surgery for the ecu - which should take it to 300-350 bhp...
