MY98 blue turbo wagon with front damage
#1
Damage was not assesed yet, but may be beyond repair.
Got takers for interior, quickshift, engine and transmission.
If anyone wants the whole car or pieces - hurry up!
Car is MY98 turbo wagon, blue, covered 94k miles.
front doors may be alright, not sure.
rear doors are alright.
all the windows apart from the windscreen are alright.
optics - none left on the front-left corner, all the rest seems fine.
alloys - 16" standard ones, all 4 alright
tyres are part worn and slighty damaged but still alright for ripping on a trackday, Dunlop SP9000
brakes - must be alright, replaced at 77k
anything else?
I'm looking for ~3000 for the whole car. Or a thousand w/o parts wanted already, listed above.

Hol, seen your e-mail, replied.
Gus, there is a guy interested in a rear bumper guard. Bumper painwork may not look very nice with that guard removed, but if you're repainting the bumper, it doesn't matter. I think you'll want to repaint it anyway to match you car colour. It has a wee scratch, not deep at all, I'll send you a picture when I have a chance. I think it will go when you clean the bumper before painting. Do you want it with guard removed? I will check how much bumpers usually are and send you an e-mail.
timjohnson - no, standard amber indicators.
David, I am open to offers. Your post doesn't state clearly if you're interested in buying it. Are you? I'll be getting more than 2k selling parts already wanted, quite possibly more than 2.5k and keep consumables like headlight until someone wants them. So don't expect to get it much cheaper then 3k. If it's not the whole car that you want, then you can have it part-stripped, just specify what has to stay on the car, it does affect the price.
Pictures - I will take some when lifting the car, hope it will be tomorrow. You won't see much on the pictures - only windscreen, bumper, hood, wheels and panels. They do look bad if you want to know. Well, wheels themselves are alright, they are just not quite where they should be I wouldnt say that the front end has a deep hole in it like it does after driving into a tree, most of damage can be told when looking at the car closely, pictures won't help much. I'm not hiding any details, I was told that the engine has moved which I believe, clutch and brake pedals have moved, chassis and wings are bent too. Something tells me you don't want it, David. It's alright. Don't bother ))
Got (provisionally) takers for wheels, indicators/wipers switches, bumper guard and bumper.
The car will see a few repairers before getting stripped/sold, I still keep repair option, but the hope is quite thin since I've seen the ground approaching. (^o^) (x_x)
Thanks for your interest guys,
Sergey

I'll have the drivers A Pillar Trim and Leather Gaitor and Plastic surround bit for the gear gaitor, oh and some orange wedges if you've still got them?

kart_man, not sure, it's MY98 which is when dash was forrester style, seats are bucket-style (since MY97) but are not height adjustable (before MY99) and brakes are 2 pots (before MY99).
Paint code - tell me where the paint code is written and I'll tell you. It's not a dark/deep blue.
TBMeech - got your mail, replied.

ice man: you can have it if the car is split. Not sure about the price, expect some 50% of new price. It's a momo wheel with some leather and it looks nice. Do you want to collect it or should I post it to you?
wrx_virgin: it's 2-pots brakes, sorry.

So, here's what provisionally wanted already:
- Engine&transmission
- Seats, door panels, maybe boot trim
- Wheels, brake calipers
- Front hubs, track ctrl arms, engine mounts, front engine x-member
- Bumper guard
- Rear bumper
- intercooler
- pillar trim, orange bumper wedges, gearknob gaiter&plastic, rear fog switch
- steering wheel
- wiper/indicator switches
- load cover
- boot carpet, O2 sensor
- plastic around radio
Not bad at all!
Have the whole dash still unwanted, all 5 doors, etc etc.
Any more interest?

Weava, YHM back.
Ice man - ok subject to MAF sensor not being taken with the engine.
Neil - ok, the left hand side vent may be bent, but may be alright for a project. Send me an e-mail. Edited to say - scoop should be intact.
