Well I am very sad to say that my lovely Scoob is soon going to be up for sale I need a cheaper car to run as now doing longer journeys on a more regular basis.

I want to give it a service etc before I do advertise it but just thought I would put it on here first to see what type of response I get. So here goes.......

Silver STI V5 Type R 1999 (T)
51K Miles (will be by time I sell it)
Scoobysport Back Box
Scoobysport Group A gas flowed down pipe
Scoobysport equal length manifold
Power Engineering centre pipe with sports high flow CAT
Link ECU (latest chip from B.R Developments mapped to run on Optimax by Bob Rawle).
LamdaLink
KnockLink
HKS RS Induction Kit
Samco Hoses
Dump Valve (not sure which one, was fitted by previous owner)
Black Diamond drilled front discs with braided hoses.
Red stuff pads
17" Prodrive alloys with Toyo Tyres
Upgraded plugs and leads
Clear front and side indicators

Obviously got all the normal Type R bits - Adjustable diff, electric windows/mirrors, air con etc etc.

Last time at Power Engineering got 319Bhp on the rollers but has since been re-mapped with new chip and to run on Optimax so might be slightly different.

I have all receipts for all the work that has been done on this car, full history etc.

Also have the original down pipe and centre section should any one want it with the car.

Hope the pics work ok. I know they are a bit crap and don't really show the car off too well but only ones I have at the mo. The previous owner sent these to me the car looks the same apart from it now has clear indicators.

£ OFFERS at the moment

P.S. Forgot to say it has a Clifford 300 alarm and a Tracker

Oh hello! So what do you drive then mate? I don't think I have even seen another Type R around here thought I was only one?

By the way looking at getting a BMW 328Ci so if anyone would be interested in Part exchange etc???

I know, I know but need something bit more comfortable on the old motorway trips

I only got it 2 weeks ago, I was the one that liked your spoiler @ your place of work! I got a MY99 STi V Type R in Sonic Blue! Good luck selling (although price looks a little low to others that I have seen recently - i.e. topmarques etc circa £15500 for a Type R)

Ah yea I remember. I am just testing the water at the mo really price can soon go up

Enjoy your car mate, sure you will.

By the way you might wanna think about getting another ECU/re-map if your £'s will allow it, So it will run ok on our UK fuel.

If you don't mind me asking what did yours cost?

I paid 13.5k, but the bloke wanted a quick sale as he had a porsche eating his wages away!!! Bearing in mind that it is full of car park dings (which will be taken out on Friday!!!) and I will have to spend around £3-4K on mods to match yours, I think that your price is too low!!! I would have happily paid another £2k on mine if it had no dings, and the level of mods yours has!

BTW I have a knocklink now fitted, and run on optimax and NF booster and it has not knocked once (sensor cranked upto full sensitivity!!)

Think the trouble with scoobynet is that most people already have scoobs (saying that, I just sold my MY98 on here!)

Best to try Autotrader/topmarques

Yea just recently found out about the Findit web site!

Well think I will give up on here! only people who have seemed interested end up just buggering me about.

At the end of the day if no one wants it then I will just keep it

Time for TopMarques me thinks!!

Y'know this worries me a bit, I have a similar spec car and I wonder what will happen if I need to sell it?

I used this site to find it, but like all people I had another car to sell first and had to walk away from cars I wanted. I think that is the main issue.

Oh sh!te what has happened to the pics that were on there??? maybe there is a prob with the turbosport uploader?

I haven't put my car in topmarques etc yet. I have also seen a car I would like to look at with all the spec etc I wanted (BMW 328Ci) but no point in having a look at it yet until I have sold me Type R, it's a right bugger!!!

Getting it sorted @ Keith Cosier in Martlesham for stonechips on Drivers door, rear bumper and bonnet + numerous dings on both doors + nearside rear quarter he is charging me £200 Not bad I thought! I think the standard charge is £50 per panel for paintless dent removal. He is the RAC chipsaway franchise - call 01473 333445. Perhaps we should arrange a Scoobynet Group Buy!!!

Edited to say, are you no longer working for the same company then??
