My mate has one of them, same year.

I assume you have modified it lots, as my mates one is very slow. I think they are about 180bhp. The newer shape were over 200bhp.

Just curious, not knocking what you say.

Maybe you could list whats been done to it.

The uk standard spec is 180, this is the jap version and yes it is modified, the biggest noticable diff between the uk and jap models is the bonet

I thought this model for sale was the ST185 ?? ( Rounder front )

If i'm right and it is the ST185 then it's 201bhp UK car or 225bhp import.

The st165 was 182bhp UK car and 185bhp import.

But i'm sure you could put me right bob269 as to which model yours is ?

It is the ST185 yes (chassis no. on the log book can confirm this), and yes u r right it is standard spec 225, but this car has been modded

Incidentally, how do the bonnets differ from UK and Jap spec versions? Surely you are getting confused with the special Sainz edition bonnets? There were only about 5,000 of those and by no means did they make up all of the UK quota.
