Fact is a car is only worth what people will pay for it....

And people WILL pay that for such a rare Escort Cossie.
Whats the point in replies like that?

Replies to adverts complaining / questioning the price or quality of the goods are harmful and often misleading and are therefore not allowed.

Now that's what I call low depreciation!

It has to be said, how many scoobs do you see on the road compared to Escort cossies?

Any pics? It usually helps.

Thumbs up

I can mail pics to anyone who is genuinely interested in the car...

....I didn't actually read the pre-edit post which would appear to have been against forum guidelines but all I can say is that it is a SERIOUSLY nice car, totally standard apart from the Magnex exhaust, and genuinely straight and untouched.

Escort Cosworths hold their money well anyway....very nice genuine examples, particularly a Monte Carlo in Jewel Violet even more so.

DAVE-W -

Good luck with the sale mate, the car sounds stunning !

To everyone else who posted negative things, have you any clue what you're talking about when replying ? If you've nothing constructive to say then go and beat one off to your Max Power mag.

As for the value of this rare car, why do you think people pay 15k+ for a decent RS500 when the cars are 16yrs old ? IT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE WORTH IT TO A FORD EDUCATED CONNOSEUR !!

Just my 2p worth ! :0) I'm sure someone will realise this is a bargain and give it a good home.

Ryk,

Many thanks for your post m8 It'll no doubt cheer you up no end that I do actually own a scooby

Catalunya,

The car is actually valued for guaranteed insurance purposes at £22,500-00....the sale price is just that....imagine if I'd posted at £22,500-00 no offers....Scoobymantyper and Ryk would fall off their chairs

Bob & Evo,

Many thanks for some sensible replies

Dave

Good luck with the Sale, and don't let any of the masquerading traders on the BBS beat you down.
