Due to discovering that the shell of our Opel Manta rally car
is too rusty to work with , my mate and I have decided to abandon
the project and build a Mk1 Escort rally car instead, so we have the following parts for sale;

Safety Devices Bolt in Rollcage with diagonal and door bars £225
2.0 cih engine with mild cam and 5 speed straight cut gearbox £250
Quick rack (steering) 2 turns lock to lock (and column) £100
Full set of Bilstein Dampers (and some springs , don't know what they are but very stiff) £200
Full set of glass for a manta B coupe £50
Pair of doors (need painting) £30
Bootlid with spoiler (needs painting) £20
2 Radiators £30 for the pair
Complete Bosch fuel injection inc. ECU £50
Brand new (still in box) clutch kit £25
Front brake discs and pads (new and boxed) £40

Also a Gold Manta 2.0 GT/E coupe 1987/D complete running car
4 months tax and MOT
Recaro front seats
5 Good tyres

Was bought and used daily as a run around whilst waiting for a new gearbox in my mates Legacy .

£200 for some very cheap fun.

contact either Mark mph137@ntlworld.com
Ken ken_howlett@btinternet.com
Will be taking some photos Tomorrow so can then mail out as necessary.

Cheers

Oh I want the gold one so much - but I have two already (2x1.8S) - bit of a weak spot of mine.

How many miles on the Gold ?

Will the parts (brakes) fit the GTE and GT ?

A) Trumble, yes the brakes will fit a GTE / GT although I only have the front brakes i.e. discs & callipers. they are from a Vauxhal venture, vented discs with 2 pot callipers, they'll be sold including the stub axles. The brakes BRM is reffering to are a set of standard discs which are indeed sold.

B) Gold Manta was sold last night, I aleady miss that stupid sideways action!

C) Daver, can you do me a favour........

I forgot to mention that the brakes will come with virtually brand new Mintex 1144 pads, the discs are also virtually brand new with zero ridging. You can have the lot including the stub axles for £150, can I interest you in a suspension upgrade!!!
