Howdy folks,
The car is as follows:
Ford Escort RS2000 4x4
1996 N-plate
34,000 miles
Petrol Blue
Air Con and all other usual RS extras.
The car is in exceptional condition. It can be sold either as a standard or as a modified car as it is just now.
Please see full spec below:
Engine:
All engine internals are standard and untouched.
The cam cover is powdercoated gold and there is a one off polished stainless steel induction pipe fitted to the K&N 57i kit. The pipe has a specially made bracket for the ISCV on it too so there are no problems with erratic idle.
Also fitted is a ford escort cabriolet strut brace that has been colour coded Petrol Blue.
There is a mongoose full system fitted with the cat replacement pipe - tail pipe is 3.5in inwardly rolled (normal cat will be supplied)
There is a modified exhaust manifold fitted that has had the ports opened up and the EGR System removed. I still have the original manifold that will be supplied with the car.
The car is superchipped too.
I also have a full set of Samco hoses made for a 4x4 RS2000. They are currenty in the box as i've been in Newcastle since they arrived.
There is also a pipercross breather fitted to the breather from the cam cover.
I recently had the car at AVA at an r/r day and it was found to be running perfectly and a fair bit above standard power.
Also supplied will be a polished Plenum Chamber that has also been delivered while i've been in Newcastle.
Externally:
7 x 17in Ace 198 Alloy wheels in Bright Silver finish. (all immaculate - no scuffs) (I also have a 5th wheel that was marked and replaced by Kwik-Fit and a 6th that has a minor flat spot. It was booked into Lepsons for refurbishment but i was moved to Newcastle before i could arrange it!)
205/45/17 Eagle F1 tyres (around 8k old )
Standard shocks with Avo lowering springs - approx 35mm. There are no issues with wheels fouling the bodywork at all.
Black Diamond 6 groove front discs and Ferodo DS2000 pads all round (fitted 5k ago)
Ice:
JBL C953s Competition components mounted in front doors (behind standard grilles)
2 x Pioneer 10" 3-way full range speakers mounted in custom accoustic shelf
1 x Pioneer 10" Subwoofer with voice coil.
1 x Phillips Amp running components and rear 3-ways
1 x Power Amp running subwoofer
I have plenty of pics that i can post so let me know if you want them mailed.
This is a very rare car as Ford only made 500 of them for rally homologation purposes.
It has been meticulously cared for and maitained regardless of cost. I have all reciepts for the car and all repairs/ modifications ever carried out. It has a full Ford service history. These cars are supposedly not even fully broken in until 50k so this car has a lot of miles left in it.
I'm looking for offers around £8500 for the full spec as detailed above or £7500 as a standard car.
If you would like to speak to me about the car i can be contacted on the following mobile number: 07808 403790 or via e-mail -
james.braid@obcgroup.com
I am based in Aberdeen but will be more than willing to drive to meet a buyer who lives further south.
Thanks
James

Cant beleive nobody is showing any interest.
It obvious that the car is in excellent condition, great mileage, plus being a rare model...list is endless.
Nice 4x4 with decent power without the expense of a cossie !
Hope you get some interest soon Jim.

Thnaks again for the wee sales blurb again johnny!
I have actually had two very interested parties contact me now and one further person asking for some more details of that car and pics. I'm very confident it'll sell very soon![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
