Prodrive sports suspension for sale. Approx 10,000 miles and in excellent condition. It lowers the car 20-25mm's and will reduce roll, etc. These are gas pressure shocks and excellent for the road without too much 'bump' when driving. Offers + postage or you can collect from Bristol.

I'm selling them as I've bought the PSS9 bilstein kit (for track day use).

The kit will be available from sat lunch time (dealer is fitting the PSS9 rears sat am). I'm not in work from tomorrow, so internet access unlikely - best make me an offer now, we can then sort collection.

Cheers
Abs

Okay Pat. I'm looking at £300 for it, plus postage. I know I paid over £1300 with fitting for it, so it's less than 1/2 price!

Red face

Sorry Pat, should of said £300 is my asking price, no offers. I'm not sure I totally want to sell the kit, as I can refit that kit and sell the Bilstein for much much more (although I don't intend to sell for many years).

I'll leave it to you to decide.

If you are interested, best email me at home (as I'm leaving work shortly) to sort out details - not sure when I can reply though! anthony@subaruwrx.fsnet.co.uk

The kit is now off the car...anyone £300 + postage for a decent suspension kit which lowers std car 20-25mm.

Will it fit a classic?
If so might be interested if elephant.co.uk will accept the mod.
I'm assuming this is the Bilstein/Eibach kit - does it include an uprated anti-roll bar?

Hi Phil...

Not sure on that one...I'd say it doesn't but might be wrong. It's the sports kit for the new age WRx, made by prodrive (not Bilstien).

I'm sure it will as the STi7 kit will fit the 01/02 WRX, but why you changing it? The STi7 kit is better again with inverted struts.

I'm 90% sure the STi7 kit fits the std 01/02 WRx so will be same for other way round. Why change though as the STi7 has better inverted struts?

Nellie, looks like delay in updates here.

If you want the best, then it has to be bilstein, Leda, DMS..

The only down side - and it's a big one for some - is the ride quality...tends to feel every bump in the road, but this goes with speed.

Okay Pat. The kit contains springs (lower 20-25mm) and gas pressure struts. The tops of the kit are OE, ie you have to take all the parts off the original suspension from the springs up to fit this kit. This is the norm for kits bought from Subaru.

They come with the rubber dirt guards, bump stops.

Like I said, this cost me £1300 inc fitting and a front strut brace.

Yep, the lot. Front back, left and right. All in good condition and well up for another 50, 60K miles I'd say. You'll like the kit as it reduces roll by about 50% from std. Uprated ARB's will do the rest.

Let me know where your mate wants to collect from...
