MY 93 WRX for sale
#1
It's finally time to let my car go to finance my Locost project.
Subaru Impreza WRX. “K” reg 1993
Modifications:
1. HKS Super Dragger exhaust system – No catalytic converter
2. HKS Super Powerflow Induction Kit
3. Whiteline 22mm front and rear anti roll bars ( rear adjustable)
4. 16 in alloys from year 2000 Impreza
5. 4 pot brake callipers from 2000 Impreza ( front)
6. grooved/drilled brake discs and EBC green stuff pads ( front)
7. Braided hoses all round
8. turbo timer
9. Dawes device ( not fitted)
10. Broquet fuel catalyst
11. Uprated clutch kit
12. anti lift kit
The car is also fitted with a Cat 1 alarm system, Kenwood mask cd player and 10 disc multichanger. It has a lamco 3 gauge pod of boost, volts and temp. leather gaitor for gear surround and aftermarket gear ****. It has done 127,000km and has not been delimited so the speed reads mph but the mileage is in kilometres. I also have a set of 15in alloys and the old exhaust system, including cats, as well as the old anti roll bars. The car made 275bhp at a Well Lane dyno day with 245lb/ft torque ( see scoobynet dyno site under Well Lane, Craig Turner on 18/02/01. I have owned the car for 3 1/2 years. It has been fitted with a new clutch and flywheel as well as a recent timing belt change in that time. Oil changed every 3000 miles using Mobil 1 motorsport. Recent plug oil and filter change.
The price is £5500 and i can send piccies by email but dont know how to post them on here!!! It has two scratches on the front bumper which will require a little attention ( result of car park scrapes where people have kindly hit my car and driven off!!!) apart from that it is in excellent condition. I am not taking any bits off the car to sell seperately. Pumpers.

R u going to race the locost in the 750MC champ?
Just a quick point - if the speedo reads in mph, the odometer will be recording miles and it is delimited (or at least its limiter is now at 180 mph as opposed to kph).
You'll probably find the genuine mileage is part made up of kms and part of miles, like most used imports. It helps if you know the odometer reading when the speedo converter was installed.
You have got to be very careful to get mileage claims accurate as they can come back and bite you. Better to err on the pessimistic than optimistic side to avoid trouble later!

Kwakman, yes hopefully Ill be racing next year. Depends how many problems ( loads already!!) we encounter during the build. The chassis is now done, engine stripped and rebuilt and Im just sourcing a few bits b4 it becomes a rolling chassis and ready for final fitment of all the bits!!! Regarding the speedo, it definitely reads in MPH but the odometer is in kilometers. The car is limited to 112mph, I know!!!!
