PPP for MY00 - what's it worth?
#1
Full PPP (ecu, exhaust, IC hosing) fitted by Prodrive 6 months ago (5k miles).
It is for an MY00.
Anyone know roughly what it is worth? Considering taking it off before selling the car.
Cheers

Thinking of trading it in. Dealer said PPP won't make much difference to the trade-in value. Nor the 17" Superleggeras, 335mm Godspeed brakes, Sony MP3 head unit etc...
I hate bloody cars.

I bought mine about 14 months ago for £900.
I think that prices have fallen a bit since then so £700-£800
would be about right. It all depends on whether there is someone
out there looking for the complete kit.
It isn't often you get the full kit for sale including the
Intercooler pipe. You must sell the certificate as well to make
the kit complete though.
Agree that whatever you get for it you will do better than
leaving it on especially if going to a dealer.

Well, I'll see what the dealer comes back with tomorrow. Then I'll ask what they'd give for a fully standard car. If I stripped the wheels it would have to be in exchange for standard 16 inchers with decent tyres. I'd also need to let the brakes go as they won't fit anything less than 17's (even then they are like bin lids!). Can't be bothered stripping the braided hoses though! I guess it would be worth swapping back the orange indicators and repeaters. Then I'd probably sob for a few hours before heading into diesel-dom.

I'm interested in the ECU
I can exchange it for either an AE801 or an AE802 + Cash, if the price is right.
Mail me if interested (staylor@compd.com)
Maybe interested in the Intercooler hoses aswell, but I already have a TSL exhaust.
I expect you could get £200 for the Rear Prodrive Box & STi Center Section.

You'll sell the car quicker/easier if you leave it on, although a PPP'd MY00 was sold from £9K recently

If you end up splitting then I would definately have the intercooler part.
Mail me if this happens.
I thanks you.
Oh, I enquired regarding trading mine in with a few similar upgrades and they will definately offer a touch more with the bits on but nothing like as much as if you sold the bits seperately, all down to whether you can be bothered. I know I can!!

Lol. I'd want a tad more than 9 grand for mine! People are selling standard MY97s for 8500 on here.
I'm based in the midlands, and everyone who has emailed me should have a reply.
Hoping to hear from the dealer today or tomorrow.

Well the (non-scooby) dealer's quote was a bloody insult, but then they did admit that they basically don't want high value trade-ins as they can't shift them. The scooby dealer's quote was ok, but I'm trying to move to a boring-fart dieselmobile with added pipe and slippers.
Right now I'm trying to get my head around it all. Seems that no-one really wants a MY00 Wagon (35k miles, Euro import, lovely nick, DBM, FSSH, just MOT'd and 35k serviced). By my calculations there's about 1400 to be had from stripping the PPP, wheels, brakes and clear bits, but I don't really know what the standard car is worth. If it is too low then it screws up all my calculations.
Unless anyone has an Audi A4 Avant 2.5TDi they're looking to get shot of to move into a very rapid scoob wagon?
