The Grundig GDV 620 HT DVD player is multi region and has a fantastic cinema surround which includes 6 small speakers and one large sub woofer.
You can listen to the tv on only 2 of the 6 speakers by switching the DVD player to aux.

And I have a Panasonic SA-PM01 CD stereo system. This is a modern small micro system, silver in colour. It has support for AUX, and has a CD player and tunner built in. This one always get high marks in most user reviews. It also comes with remote control and a new pair of Kenwood KPM-410 stereo headphones
