1989,white,17" wheels,new brakes all round,blueprint engine rebuild 30,000 miles ago,turbo fully rebuilt,stage 1 270bhp with graph,leather interior,nomad boost gauge,scorpion s/s/ exhaust 4",130,000 on car and 30,000 on engine etc.
the car is spot on and drives very well just could do with abit of tlc on the rear arches as with most saff's of this age.

sorry for the delay in replying... I was at GTI International this weekend and so had no net access.
Not looking for a px as I am looking at a Mk4 Golf GTI T or an Ibiza Cupra 20VT
The price on here is what I am looking for - £5k. I can remove the ICE and put back the standard speakers (I'll leave the headunit though) and can put on the standard wheels (with 2 new Toyo's) and would be willing to sell the car for around £4400 with the exhaust, K&N and Koni's still on.
Let me know if you are still interested

Mike, saw your car yesterday morning, looking sweet as a nut mate.. If you want a 20VT engine so much why don't you buy one and put it in the MK3??? I am away to put a 2.9VR6 engine into the MK2...
just a thought

cheers mate, but the car has a good engine in it at the moment so it is not worth me removing it.
Would rather start with a car built for the engine to start with
