It's in pretty good condition. I've never seen any scratches or any damage to it, and I have cleaned it in the past.
Price - what about £150

Ok, will do.
Will be in autotrader if no luck soon for the car itself here.
I did a check on the rear wheels the other day, they've got more tread than I thought - about 4-5mm. I've just been trying to find the cheapest place for replacement Toyo's on the front.

Time to resurrect this thread. Current status:
MD changer sold. Splitter sold.
916Duke, £150 inc. postage doesn't sound too bad, I'm guessing might be around £20 postage for such a heavy item? If you live vaguely near Surrey then it might be cheaper for me to drive it to you. Read note at bottom of this too please.
Car still open to offers (baring in mind it won't have the bits sold on it).
IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm out from evening of 28th May, back on 6th June and although I might (might... if I'm lucky) get a chance to check mail again on eve of 29th, don't expect any replies or anything by electronic means until 6th June, maybe 7th when I'm back.
Don't worry, I'm not disappearing - I'm still selling the bits I've agreed to sell, if you're in process of doing a transaction/offer you should have an email from me today.

Guys and (any) gals - decided not to sell the suspension springs 'cos it's too costly for the labour; and will mean my car's geometry will need redoing. Anyone can do it for free/very cheap, offer, but o/wise they're staying on the car. Sorry.

I'm really hating having to write this, cos I love the car and don't want to sell it, but circumstances (lack of a good job and insurance renewal due) mean I have to be practical.
MY00 DBM Subaru Impreza Turbo with some mods as below.
£11k with all the bits, will consider offers or if you want it unmod'ed I can get things taken off. UK Dealer supplied and always dealer serviced to schedule or earlier.
Coming on for 60k miles, yes it's a bit high, but the majority of the miles were motorway driving by the previous owner who had it from new. I take care to warm it up properly and let it idle to cool, as did the previous owner.
V-registration (Jan '00)
MOT till Jan '04
Tax till July '03
* Gold/silver 16" alloys, Toyo T1-S tyres (fronts will soon be new, rears still some life left - or you can replace them with your own choice if you grab it quickly)
Let me explain: I have some gold and some silver alloys, so you can have (with a little effort/expense to swap them) gold or silver, how you like it.
* As said above, full Subaru dealer service history
* Air-Con
* Recent Front brake pads (4mths ago)
* Recent cam-belt (at 3yr/60k service, 4mths ago)
* Powerstation Bumpsteer Mod
* Powerstation Anti-Lift Mod
* Eibach Springs (will split)
* Thicker rear anti-roll bar
* Scoobysport Rear Box (will split as I have a std. one)
* Ecutec TEK1 ECU (same chip as std., just reprogrammed, will split).
* ICE: Sony Radio/Cassette Head Unit with 10 CD changer, or a Sony 6 MD changer. Pick one/have both if you really want (I have a source selector). Definitely consider splitting this.
* Head & foglight protectors (clear, fitted in the photo)
* Intercooler air-dam splitter (invisible unless you look inside)forces more air onto the front of the intercooler to keep it more evenly/efficiently cooled).
I also have an original MY00 exhaust if someone doesn't want the Scoobysport one or is planning on seriously modding it and keeping one for the MOT.
The MY00's have a reputation for having one of the lesser ECU's but this one doesn't suffer from it with the Tek1 replacement.
The car's virtually always been run on super unleaded/optimax (optimax when possible), always on optimax for the majority of it's life.
This is (IMO) the best of the non-new non-special-edition UK Impreza's, with all the bits on before they went bug-eye'd. Interior map-reading lights, colour coding, just those extra little bits that make it nicer. Plus it's got improved handling over the standard car that really helps.
Would also seriously consider a part-ex plus a load of cash, but must be something cheap that's also not too expensive to insure (otherwise I'm almost back where I started...). Anyone wanting to upgrade or has been ex-scooby for a while and wants back?
Pictures:
If you want a pic of the head unit facia or the CD/MD changers, I can supply those too.
[Edited by breezer - 5/6/2003 4:40:17 PM - to fix pics and to say part-ex considered]
[Edited by breezer - 5/6/2003 4:46:45 PM - splitables, +price lowered]
