MY02 interior in MY98

Been offered a MY02 interior (wagon, new shape) for my MY98 Sport (wagon, classic). General consensus seems to be that they wont fit. Anyone know different? What are the issues front/rear?
Failing that, anyone got immaculate MY99/00 wagon interior for sale?
(I know, ought to be in 'interior' but I could put u in touch with breaker if 02 stuff turns out as no use to me...)
