59k miles, full service history, leather/"wood" interior
(small child not included unless you REALLY want him :

Subaru 16" alloys, car is running approx 260-280bhp thanks to David Wallis and his Scooby ECU , but could be returned to standard in a few minutes by someone with a soldering iron - its one wire to re-connect.

Also a set of 4 gold 15" Subaru alloys with tyres - better than a space saver - free with the car or I'll skip them, as they are taking up shed space.

Now owned by my father who has been using it as a toy. Was owned by me from September 2000 until Feb / March this year.

Contact Dave on 01482 229119 (work) or e-mail me details as per profile and I'll pass on numbers etc to him.

£6000 o.n.o., and I promise is worth it

Spoken to my father - its £6000 ono., so I've edited the original post.

Anyone interested? Its a nice car, I promise you, and a few of the long standing Scoobynet members on here can vouch for its pace, handling and condition

I cant believe how MUCH faster than my 01 WRX it is, and it goes round bends about 50 times better.

Must get some money to mod my new one

no, it doesnt have air con. I could never see why people wanted it in tis country, it hardly gets red hot very often.. but now Ive got one with it I think I understand

The leather is OK, and certainly is better than the rough material in the earlier cars - easy to keep clean too . None of the stitching is coming apart and we've always tried to keep it in good condition - it was actually my wifes every day car as I had a company car, and she didnt really want to part with it.

If I or my dad had kept it we were going to get a newer bucket interior - you can get seats for a few hundred quid from a breakers and I am told that all classic shape seats are interchangeable, even ones from a wagon which just have an extra anchor point for the folding bit (or summat like that ) I never got round to it, hardly driving it myself, and my dad hasnt had it long enough.

Price reflects what we think its worth in todays market. He is not trying to make money on it, but wants it to be sold. I actually paid 12.5 k for it in September 2000!

Its all of about 2 hours, I regularly drive there with work.

And yes, my father (who now owns it) would be happy to talk about price, its just a toy for him that he's decided to sell on.

Just had a look on multimap - 137 miles, hour and a half traffic permitting.

Can you tell me how many owners are on log book, is the service history all fully stamped up etc, Tax and MOT?, is it HPI clear? Any damage, scrapes at all? - would hate to come a long distance and find unexpected condition.

Cheers
