2 X Weirauch HW45 pistols .22 6ft/lb both with scopes. One is a Nikko Stirling Silver Crown 2 X 20, I dodn't know the make of the other one.

1 X Webly Nemesis Pnemuatic with Laser dot sight

1 X Webly Eclipse 12ft/lb rifle with scope.

1 X Weirauch HW90 rifle 12 ft/lb fitted with Theoben gas rab system. This also has a scope fitted.

Make me an offer.

Sorry to hijack the thread but who says air rifles cant be serious bits of kit? A lot of pest controllers using air rifles all the time?

Simon.

nice in theory but not strictly true - the 90 I used have needed a pump to increase the pressure in the gas ram, also I don't think the internals of the non FAC guns are up to that kind of power. Also, standard skirted pellets will not like that kind of power behind them - the skirts deform with the pressure IIRC.

Another one to watch out for is the trigger mechanism when the power in the gas ram is way up - if you have it set too light the trigger can go off when the barrel is broken - it happened to mine, luckily i was leaning over to the pellet tin when it went off so finger and thumb were well clear, it could have been nasty if i was popping in the pellet when it went.

when the barrel slammed home against the breech the ws a 3" bend along the length - banana stylee.

I not being negative, I am just saying it's not as simple as turning a screw - there are also the legal implications - saying that I would have another 90 tommorrow ( and wind it up ) - one of the best airguns I have ever had.

mail me a rough idea of what you want for it.
cheers,

mike.

MJ,
I have never "wound it up" just repeating what I have been told. Make me an offer as I don't have an idea of what they are worth. Please bear in mind that both rifles are fitted with scopes, which if I remember correctly were abot £90?

Chelspeed, you serious?

HW45's would be in the region of £110 each including the scopes.

Rifles £150 each inc scopes and bags.

Yes I'm serious.

Don't think I count as a tree hugger, not many tree huggers with two 300 bhp cars I guess. Hippy maybe..... Just don't like guns, air or otherwise, I gave up playing with them when I was 10 and would prefer if others did too. While I'm sure most scoobynetters are responisble there are many many others around who are not and the less guns around the less chance of them falling into the hands of these people. Dunblane, Hungerford, need I say more?
