For pictures please see the `BLACK OR WHITE` thread in members gallery.
The car is 1998 but was issued a `W` plate by DVLA, due to the year of import. I am the first owner in this country and it was owned once before in Jap land.

Car mods:

Dastech Unichip by Powerstation Cheltenham, remember there very conservative figures and at the time i think it was one of the highest recorded on their rollers. Power at 305 BHP and about 280 lbft, mapped to run on SUL and NF.
Scorpion downpipe, Scoobymania midsection and Scoobysport backbox.
HKS induction filter.
HKS lowering springs on std Type R shox. Bumpsteer mod, again by powerstation, along with their geometry settings. Uprated front and rear antiroll bars, uprated droplinks supplied by Scoobymania and antilift kit.
Black Diamond discs and mintex pads, brake support bracket, braided front lines.
Sti pedals, Blitz power meter, lamco gauges, Defi boost gauge, autometer afm gauge. Knocklink gauge.
Front Version 6 lip spoiler, Raceline RL 7 17" wheels and So2 tyres.
Pioneer deh-p8000r stereo, cobra cat 1 alarm.

This car has been maintained religously by RogerClark Motorsport,at one stage every 1000miles, i`m sure if you was to ring either Matt or Ollie they would only have praise for my car, they have installed all after market parts.

I hope this answers a few questions, the reason that i`m selling is that we had our garage converted in to a dinig room(women )so i didnt fancy leaving it outside for all the car theives to see so i have had it in dry storage for nearley a year now. The wife had a P1 so we used to blat round in that when we wanted some fun, after all it was a company car

The car is now not being used at all, its seems a shame such a beautiful car is not being used by somebody so have decided to sell

Offers in the region of £14000.00

Any body interested can contact me at walkerpau@aol.com

Regards

IIRC Paul organised my first ever meet Tamworth services in Jan 2001 - ice and snow and the legendary humpback bridge where someone (cough) detonated their airbags having flown a hundred yards LOL

Cheers Walker you got me hooked on these ere scooby things

Thanks for the offer Si, did all that sort of stuff a few years ago, i was the first person to arrange the wales camping trip along with Kev, used to hold a few meets and runs at Tamworth services on the 42. Not really into it anymore, but thanks for the offer all the same. Still if you know anybody that might want to buy mine let us know.

Richard

That was one cool meet, ahh the good old days, i remember them well!

The scrapes in the tarmac are probably still there after the `pilot` landed the other side of the bridge

On the pace notes it was "Caution 30mph MAX or you will fly"

I flew at 40mph and the person (nameless) who flew was estimated 60mph plus

Took me months to get the grime off the car after that meet

Lovely motor...sorely tempting to get back into Scooby ownership.

Please could you let me know mileage, full details on service history and whether is has been tracked.

Also - is it a version 5?

Thanks

Paul

Dales

It has a full service history by Roger Clark Motorsport, at one stage i had the oil and filter changed every 1000 miles. The car has covered about 36000 miles (mainley motorway). I did 1 trackday in it a couple of years ago when i first had it.

Hope this helps.

This is the best Type R I've seen and I've seen a few!

You will be very hard pushed to find one in as good condition, let alone one that has been looked after aswell as this.

I think that S/H speaks volumes

Type R's are so different to other scoobs, the centre diff control, power split, LSD, short ratios, waterspray etc. A true classic IMO.

Talking

Few questions:

I take it it is an Sti 5?
Has it had the major cambelt service?
The air filter you mention - is it a panel or induction kit?
Where are you in the UK?
Would you take a PX of circa 2.5k value?

Thanks!

Yep its a V5 with a V6 lip spoiler which RCM put on for me.

The next service is the major one i beleive, correct me if wrong.

PX £2500, depends what you mean.

Big thanx to Jase again for putting up the service book.
Jase, i tried to ring you in the week but no reply, will contact later, cheers dude!!
