Posting for a friend, 3 are unmarked but 4th has a shallow scuff on the rim. Fitted with part used intermediate slicks or something! Unsure of value but I reckon that £500 is a far place to start. Offers in that region invited. No pics available yet, may sort something out during the bank holiday if required.

OK, almost back to the starting price!
Thanks to everyone for your offers. I'm still awaiting a picture for those that asked, which I should have on my camera by tomorrow morning. Hopefully I will be sufficiently awake prior to work to transfer this to my computer. Offers in excess of £475 are now invited.

Mark,
The tyres are intended for the track. Although they are grooved, I would not recommend them for road use as the construction of track tyres is quite different to road tyres. Besides, there are probably some regulations somewhere that make it illegal to use them on the public highway.
Rod,
pictures have just been sent but my e-mail is slooooooooooow, but hopefully you will have them before too long.

Hopefully photos are above. Just to keep you all updated, Rod is the high bidder at £450 following a recent retraction. Offer will close either tomorrow afternoon or friday morning depending upon when my last pre-weekend viewing occurs.

Rod,
Slicks are of a much lighter construction than road tyres. They are intended for use on well-maintained, rubbish-free tarmac. If you look closely at the pictures, you will see that the tyres say "For competition purposes only". I don't know whether this is because road use is illegal per se or whether it is due to fear of litigation.
The wheels appear to be in as good a condition as can be expected for second hand items. There is no major damage, just the usual stuff, corrosion where the wheel nuts contact and occasional small surface scratches. These wheels have been on a P1 for about 15k miles and are in what I would class as good condition (better than most). Personally, I would never class used wheels as "mint".

Graham,
This set does sound ideal for you. Dunlops were bought part-used and have not been used since purchase so should be good for a season of hillclimbs if you stick to the local venues. I know your area well and it's about a 115 mile jorney depending exactly where you are. I have your details and will call if appropriate.

Excellent! Two retractions from South Wales, is it something that they put in the water there or are the locals just congenitally stupid? I suspect the water myself, largely because I have a great grandmother from the Rhondda. Anybody want to buy a holiday in South Wales next month? I fear that I may be affected by the tainted water supply.
Graham, are you interested at £450? The wheels that is, not the holiday.

Nah, I'm just concerned that these people are being unwittingly poisoned. This is surely a worthy cause to adopt? I can understand how they might get confused by this though, so I'll try very hard not to profess this view (in words of one syllable) whilst I am there.
It's just that I find it really annoying when people retract offers on the grounds that they can't afford their offer, their wife just left them, they just lost their job, somebody stole their car, dog ate their money, etc, etc. Heard them all! And you just know that with everything that you sell, half the people making offers won't know their **** from their elbow.
