the last service was @ 113848 miles which cost £431 and included all fluids, timing belt, alternator belt and other bits and bobs...
mileage on the car now is 117k

Has the engine ever been re-built or the turbo replaced? Lovely car, the high mileage is putting me off - but if its been looked after and these things done then I'd be interested in coming to see it.

never had a rebuild..... its not a cossy
has a full service history.... so yes it had been VERY WELL maintained... if u want go drive one with 60-70k on the clock then drive mine... i assure you mine wont drive any worse... probably drive better....

Don't be put off by the miles, there was a post on ScoobyNet a while ago about cars going on for 250/300k without any major problems, as long as they are fully serviced.
Bargain Price - I'm surprised its not sold already.

It wasn't so much the miles - just the comments of a few knowledgable Impreza owners when i talked to them about it, of which a brief summary would be "make sure you've got a few grand handy as its likely that a engine rebuild, replacement turbo, or new gearbox will be needed".
To be fair though, those comments were aimed at ANY out-of-warranty Impreza - not just the high mileage ones.

To be honest mechanically the car is 100% spot on.. drives well and goes well... Bodywork on the car is as you would expect with the miles/age of it.. it has a few sonechips..and car park dings
It has NEVER been involved in any accidents nor has it ever had any bodywork.... it is totally original in that respect.
I am more than happy to allow any potential buyer carry out an AA/RAC inspection on the car
