STI type RA £9,200

Unfortunately time has come to buy something a little more sensible. It is a 96 P-reg STI version 3 in white and unmodified bar a Pipercross air filter and EBC front brakedisks, + usual STI RA spec so driver control center diff, I/C water spray, 276bhp STI engine, lightweight panels, roof pod etc. Also has air con, E/W, 4 speaker Sony stereo, Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser and 4 good SO3 tyres.
I have had the car for a year and a half, and it has done 45,000 miles. I've done 16,000 miles in it since buying and have had it serviced twice (interim at 35k, full service at 42k), and I also had the cambelt changed a few weeks ago.
The condition is immaculate, just had new bumpers front and back from two seperate incidents when I was driven in to. Both were extremely light impacts and insurance has sorted them out. The front bumper was replaced with an MY00 and it also has crystal clear type headlights and spots. Only fault the car has is the greenstuff brakepads, which I am told now I should have never bought as they are much more prone to fade than the genuine Subaru items I've always used in the past.
I have never been on track in it, although I did take it down to Santa Pod in Febuary to see what it could do and had 5 runs. Other than that it's never had a really hard thrashing.
I am looking for £9,200 for it but would consider part ex for a preferably unmodified UK Impreza turbo![](http://uk.msnusers.com/_Secure/0QwDDHE8TnXdtTPwMidA6smc45AT7u68dJGSDAg7i6ra1UhJGT0DilZoDjqWpOCmwpjhVMKmm3q3M4zWgcDnH9zRH0mvinVedzmOir59cSBs/DSCF0022.jpg?dc=4675422649432976473)

Tax is till November and the MOT is December. I think that would have been me at Pod believe it or not (Feb 27th?)I was with Peccy and a yorkshire group with a sonic blue MY99, and black WRX with an STI5 wing (and a little black 16v Clio and a Clio Cup). Got it just right on my fifth run and managed a 13.35 so sat the rest out. Hope you can't remember too much about it because that was three days after the nice lorry driver nudged the bumper and wing. Got plenty of stick that day

I remember that day very well, and all the stick that was being thrown your way, although I don't remember seeing you run the strip, 13.35 is a good time, I can't wait for a go!
I was co-piloting a green wagon, second in the long convoy, did you join on just before that pub carpark which had slightly more cars in it than was ever intended?
Did the ins company replace the n/s wing? or just get it beaten and filled?
Have you got any better pics showing all sides and inside of the car? Please email me.
Cheers.
Rick

Rally,
I drove past the group (led by BuRR) and then turned round to catch up the back runners. The wing was replaced with a new one which was nice
I'll try to sort some photos out this week.
Paul,
Did you put yours in the Autotrader? Not sure whether I may as well keep it on here for free rather than pay £35 for the week.

How much T&T is there on car?
I was at Pod in Feb with loads of Scoobs from Yorkshire and surrounding area - one hell of a convoy, probably saw you there..
Regards,
Rick

Autotrader seem to do some good packages:
http://shop.autotrader.co.uk/OLA/WWW2/CARS/
eg 2 weeks on web + 1 week in print £30
or 2 weeks on web only £9.95 - bargain
The web is a 'live' source whereas the printed one is only revised weekly.
I bought my last car from an internet only autotrader ad, I will be selling via same method once I have purchased a Scoob.
Sorry to hijack thread with autotrader ramblings.
I was co-driving BuRR to the Pod.
I look forward to seeing any pics you can find.
