The Unichip doesn't have a year - but if it's the car to which you refer: it came off a 91 Legacy turbo estate.

edited to say - doesn't really matter what it comes off cos you got to get it installed and mapped properly. However, if you've got a Legacy turbo then you could splice it into the loom pretty easily.

The Unichip can be fitted to other vehicles but you'd have to clear the memory on this one first.

is it the dastek uni chip then when you say clear the memory ,do you mean unplug...where are you based i am in herts

Yes it's the dastek unichip. I'm not a mapping guru so I don't know what needs to be done to get it to work on a Type R integra but I do know they're pretty universal - they're programmed for the specific application. Might be worth a phone call to someone who does installation and mapping of these. I'm in central/west London

These things are pretty expensive and the going rate for 2nd hand is £100. However, I can do £80 collected - that is CHEAP! Otherwise I might as well put it in my car.

hi it should have a no, on it as they dont just make 1 uni chip to fit all cars, ive called the uk importes, any info at all and do you have the xtra bit you can add on for turbo boost , mark
