Question

The spoke design is relatively similar speedline chrono's - do they clear the MY99 4-pot calipers!? What is the extent of damage to the alloys? What sort of % of tyre is left?

Milly,

you have mail.

Saxo Boy,

They clear MY01 4 pots so assume they would clear MY99. Hard to define extent of damage, but not extensive. % of tyre left??? But have 5-6mm of tread.

sulli,

Sorry, but no deal.

I was meaning what sort of percentage of a new tyre are they worn? For example, if the thread depth on the tyre when new was 12mm then at 6mm remaining they would be 50% worn

Saxo Boy,

in answer to your question about tyre tread depth - all tyres come with roughly 8-9mm.

These ones have 5-6mm (mostly 6mm). Therefore, they've got a good two thirds wear left out of them. I've done a good 15k miles out of em' so you should get about 10k or about a year out of them.
