Omega watch for sale.
#2
I know it's not Subaru related but I hope your good taste in cars means you also have good taste in quality watches!!
Omega F300Hz stainless steel watch for sale.
The watch is approximately 35 years old now and becoming very rare.
It has a mechanism, which works from a tuning fork, which resonates, at 300Hz.
This mechanism was pioneered by Omega before the invention of the quartz movement.
The watch is a certified chronometer, which basically means when it was new the mechanism was tested for 14 days at various temperatures and angles and had to maintain an accuracy of better than 4 seconds a day.
This is the most accurate certification awarded.
Even today the watch keeps excellent time.
I purchased the watch from a collector’s fair and have now owned the watch for 5 years.
I had it service just after I bought it.
The watch is 100% original and still has the original face, crown and stainless steel strap.
It is in excellent condition and worn regularly.
It has a smooth sweeping second hand and a date function.
Reason for sale is I have just purchased a new Omega Seamaster watch, and while I am tempted to keep both watches, I feel it should be worn and used regularly.
Omega are recognised as one of the top watch manufactures in the world and can claim to make the only watch to have been worn in space after vigorous testing by NASA.
They also provide the watch as worn by James Bond 007.
I would like to get £180 for the watch and suspect it will probably go up in value as they become scarce.

Thats similar to mine but not the same. Mine is a Geneve rather than the constilation and looks squarer and a bit more modern.
I'll try to post some pictures but don't seem to be having much luck posting them.
Graham.
Met. The car is running great thanks, been two months now.
Just about to uprate the brakes, then the TSL phase two suspension mod and I'll be done...... well nearly.
The ecutek3 has made a huge difference. Trouble is I need to change the brakes and handling to cope with the extra power.

Thanks for posting the pictures.
Now you can see the actual watch.
As there have been a few interested parties, if still interested, can people please e-mail and I will try to reply in the original order as this seems to be the fairest way.

Steve,
I want £180 for the watch.
Thats about what I payed from a watch collector about 5 years ago.
They are getting rarer so if anything its gone up in value.
I don't think many jewellers will have a similar one to compare prices. Mainly antique and collector fairs only now.
A new Omega with the same calibre mechanism would however be at least £800 to over £1000.
If you want to confirm market values you might see somthing similar on ebay.
I am only selling as I have just bought a new one and its the sort of watch that should be regularly used / worn.
I'm only re-couping what I payed for the watch when I bought it.
