I was told by RAC TRACKSTAR to leave it in the car and just cancel my direct debit....
(I bought it on their interest free 3yr offer)
So I sold the car with it in to a guy 400 miles away....
RAC then said I still had to keep paying for it and the subs untill my 3yr contract was up
Not only that, but they said I couldnt have transferred it to my new motor unless I took out a brand new subscription, but would still have had to pay the original one as well [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
So now I'm paying £23 per month for a tracking system I dont have [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
And all because some woman at the RAC told me the WRONG information on the phone [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Had it taken out of my scoob when i sold it, it's about a year old and is sitting in my bedroom. It's won't go in the megablade so i have no need for it.

I was told by RAC, when I asked about removing the one from my old car, that once a unit was installed in a car it was not transferable to another vehicle.

Tracker can not be removed from the car, but the RAC trackstar can be, thats one of the main selling points !
I am asking about £300-£350, is that a fair price ?
