Yep been looking at MK2s saw that but this line put me off
If you cant weld yourself then surely you have *no* option but get someone else to do it for you, if you're into cars then you or guys you hang out with are gonna know a decent welder aint ya???
I cannot weld myself and do not fancy the idea of getting someone else to do the work for me

After reading that again it doesn't make much sense, does it? I meant that I didn't fancy the idea of paying someone else to weld it because of the cost involved. I do have a mate who is a fantastic welder but he is in the process of moving to France so cannot do the work for me. Other people claim that they can weld but I woldn't trust anyone but him on a car like this.
