Mine was registered April 1 and I was also told mine was one of the last classic shapes - did not like the new shape which had already been available fo a while at that time....
Good luck in selling yours - should be as new with that mileage.

Hi Hobbit, yep, there were some available as unreg in dealers but this was officially the last one out of UK central stock. My reason for buying it was same as yours..couldn't contemplate a bug-eye on the drive!

Sounds fantastic..........but i'm curious as to this plaque!! I've seen a 51 plate classic Wagon, a couple of times (which I believe must live near me )
Does the plaque apply to saloons only?
Good luck with the sale, It woulsd be cool to own the last one

Thanks, the plaque denotes that it was last one out of central Subaru stock but there were dealers holding some back to try & maximise prices due to the unease created by the new model, hence later registrations. (The wagon you see could be an import?). I guess there will no doubt still even now be an unreg classic somewhere!!! (See the Y plate 22B on autotrader.co.uk for an example).
May well end up ebaying or putting this car in the local trader which would be a shame as I really want it to go to a good home & the price seems pretty good to me (Boo hoo).

Hi Peeps, apologies for the delay but you all have mail.
The car has been on Autotrader here: http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_popup.asp?nU=0&make=SUBARU&model=IMPREZA&min_ pr=12500&max_pr=15000&postcode=bd1%201aa&miles=40& max_records=50&modelexact=1&start=8&distance=2&adc ategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200329101077227
since yesterday. Obviously a discount for scoobynetters

Thanks danny.
All the e-mailed pics I sent bounced back! Probably because of bitmap attachments! If still interested please e-mail me & I'll re-format & re-send.
Cheers

Here are the pics. I can vouch for the fact the pics really don't show off the magnificent colour. It's gotta be seen in the flesh, preferably in sunlight!

Would be interested to know what you get for it - as I was thinking of selling mine at some stage - dealer has offered trade in value but not enough so want to sell privately rather than line the pockets of the car dealers....
