Bought this a couple of weeks ago on a "Ive always wanted one basis" knowing that our new house hasne got a garage or drive, thinking its only a 13yr Beemer it'l be fine & i doubt any harm will come to it but the car is so nice a clean & original I just cant bring myself to drive it to the station everyday & leave it out to rust, so i am speculatively thiking about selling, although i would prefer to sell at the end of the summer (not long then!)

Further info ive emailed to someone;

Has the car got a complete bmw service history?
No it does not, it is very comprehensive but not 100% full. I have all the German Papers, log book , shipment papers etc, was brought into the Uk in late 97 from what I can make out, I have the original service book & it would seem that it has only had 1 German owner, the car has stamps from just one dealership from 1992 though til 97 when it came to the UK & was bought by a guy called James from Autotech Centre in Leeds, he owned the car for just under 4 yrs, & maintained it meticulously. The dealer in Germany was Heinz Deuchert
Book Stamped from what I can make out as follows

9712km 13.10.92 Heinz Deuchert
16000km ?.5.93 Heinz Deuchert
25049km 15.7.93 Heinz Deuchert
38160km 12.11.93 Heinz Deuchert
56013km ?.7.94 Heinz Deuchert

Then no stamps pages 11,12,13 are missing , these are the middle pages. I may contact Heinz Deuchert to see what they know as every stamp is by them

80317km 24.7.96 Heinz Deuchert
86883km 2.9.97 Heinz Deuchert

90231km 16.10.98 Autotech Centre
95011km 8.3.01 Autotech Centre
97452km 11.3.02 Autotech Centre
102740km 11.7.03 Cooks Ferry BMW Specialist

When did it last have an inpection 1 or 2?
11.7.03 at Cooks Ferry, they are a well known BMW garage, I would have gone to Bexley Motor Works as a mate recommended me but they are too far really. It had an inspection 1 at a cost of £250 all in. The report showed ne need for any major work at all, other than the discs & pads which will need to be looked at in 3000miles time. No need for Chain Tensioners although I still may get the E36 ones from Bexley under a mates advice.

And can you tell me anymore info about the car?
Err not really it drives great, there is the smallest of tiniest hole in the passenger recaro, & the bolster on the drivers seat could do with re stuffing but not bad at all. There is a small dent in the passenger door but again nothing major I did not notice it til I got home.

I´m very interested in your car but obviously this is not the sort of car you buy without looking, inpecting and driving first so understandably I´m being very careful.
I understand completely mate, but don’t want to incur any ebay charges if you say you will buy & don’t, so please please come see the car & inspect it before hand if you decide it is the car for you I will sell it off ebay.

The thing is ive got two E30 M3´s of my own a Sport evo and a Cecotto both of them are below 50 thou and I spent months looking for the right cars and months looking at a load of crap and an M3 is a car you can get burnt with.
I presume youd be looking at mine as a daily driver against these 2 beauties in the Garage then? The engineers at Cooks Ferry basically said it’s a totalyy un messed with well original M3 & they def said it’s a real beauty, make your own judgement when you see it as they may well of been paying lip service.

The problem I´ve got is If I win the auction what scope have I got to say(once I´ve looked at it)to say I don´t want it,I mean I know a lot about E30 M3´s Because I used to race them so it wouldn´t need a BMW inpection but I would want to look at it properly before I handed over the cash.
As ive said come see it first, I don’t want to incur ebay fees though if you don’t have it, id rather it did not meet reserve & then you came to see it or ideally see it first.

Just one thing I´ve noticed is the like you say the M badge is on the wrong side,Why?
Why was it taken of off the right of the car?
Has the car had a rear end accident and the boot resprayed?
The badge was on the wrong side when I got it & indeed when the guy had before me, I have photographic evidence of this, I took the badge of with dental floss & a hairdryer & the paint was much brighter & it looked like it had def been on there for a VERY long time so who knows, it has original tool kits complete, triangle & medic kit & is very very clean in the boot, there is no rust & there is no overspray, so I really cannot say. I have the Hpi all clear from the AA too, they had to seperately contact the DVLA as it appears that when the car 1st came in it was given a G plate. I have all DVLA papers & AA Hpi papers to show all this, I called the 2 previos owners to check everything out, the Tax Disc holder & Number plates are both stamped with Autotech Centres details, always a good sign, & the plate holders are both front & rear from the supplying BMW dealer, again always a very good sign that a car has not had it up the rear or in the front, I will check 100% wether it is the dealer stamped plate holders, although I am 99% certain they are Heinz Deuchert, they are deffo German Dealer Plate holders, though

Could you supply me with any other information and photos
Info NO! I think a have covered everything ;-)
Photos, have to be one evening maybe or the weekend, my digital camera is really crap & I would have to go borrow a mates one,

Thankyou & Goodnight!

The later engines (in Europe at least) had the 48mm throttle bodies as opposed to the 46mm ones, they also had Evo 2 cams (although not the head).
