Why has the price gone up i just seen this for £150....?
What would you take for the intercooler on its own, no hoses or pipes..?

Yeh, don't mind splitting.
Price still is £150!
Just though it was a good deal to put it all together for £180
£150 + postage for the Intercooler
£45 + postage for the hose set.
Cheers

You can run more boost safely with the STI intercooler over the standard one.
Probably get the best benifits from it after a re-map

The actual intercoolers of this vintage are virtually identical, only difference is the pipework.

Std hoses have been known to split or blow off at high boost.
Samco's are worth doing even if you have an alloy Y-Pipe.

Hmmm,
Think you'll find the STI ones have a better core and can offer better cooling potential over the standard UK one....

Hi Mike,
It's not a direct fit, could probably be made to fit, but if your looking for a direct replacement, then I would say no m8.

Don't want to start an argument, but the core is identical (37.5 x 14.5 x 6.2cm, 3.15kg), only difference is the rear endtank which is a slightly different shape allowing a marginal increase in flow capacity (315cfm vs 309cfm). As I said, biggest difference is in the pipework.

Sorry Windows, but I have to agree with Andrew on this one!Marginal improvement over std 97/98MY TMIC.
Good luck with the sale.
