Ignore them. I think they are only pulling your leg anyway.

You've obviously spent a lot of time and money on this car and hats off to you for that. It might not be to everyone's taste, but so what? There will be just as many that like it as those that don't.

With 250bhp, a light shell and only 2wd transmission losses, it should be quite a quick thing.

And for that kind of money, it's a great performance bargain for someone starting out on quick cars.

Good luck, hope you sell it.

Nick - I was winding you up

Having once owned a Cavalier GSi myself, I can imagine that it does go with a light Astra shell on it.

Good luck.

Thumbs up

I'm sure you have scared a lot of scoobs with this car, I had a fright with a MK1 Astra the other day* so I know how quick these can be.

F (ex GTE 16v owner and Cav GSI)

PS *I should have changed down from 5th I suppose

The Vauxhaul 16v 2.0 engine was really good, extremely flexible and willing to rev with good economy too!

It's just a pity my Cav suffered from the porus oil gallery problem.
