offer them breakers money especialy if its newly imported as tim said you will require 8k for engine and with those miles will be a bitch to sell poss 5 or 6k stands you at 14 running but you must remember every part has 77000 miles on it gearbox clutch etc
would be a good buy then, as i beleive goodens fetch 20 -25 k if not maybe worth avoiding. ps who selling them interested in 9000 miler

I would say around £8k. Make sure you have the car fully inspected before making an offer. Clutches, gearboxes, diffs and just about everything else on these beasts are expensive. I would guess it could cost over £10k just to sort out all the mechanics. Probably not worth bothering unless you are a specialist and can do most of the bits yourself.

sorry haven't replied b4, working nights. the dealer is crossroadsgarage shipton on stour. the contact is Ben his number is 07967471881. this is not the crossroads offering cheap tyres they are a subaru dealer. I think you're right the blown engine car is best left to specialists. they want offers around £10K for the 77000 one but I recon it will go for less. the 9000 mile one is offers around £28K. I've only had my P1 5 months so I think I'll stick with that.
thanks for your help Ken
