Cool

For Sale my nearly new Road Angel:

Spec:

Sitting neatly on your dashboard, ROAD ANGEL gives you personal warning of:

Accident Blackspots
Gatso Cameras
Inductive loop Gatso
Truvelo Cameras
SPECS Average Speed Cameras
Mobile Laser Cameras
Regulated Roadworks
Your own mobile or danger area sites

New laser alert warns through 360
degrees of laser guns and mobile laser
based camera systems.
Angel is designed to provide you with instant critical information to enhance the safety of your journey.

Using the latest GPS technology and the most comprehensive database of countrywide danger areas.
Road Angel compares your position to that of known danger spots.

When nearing a location the units audible alarm sounds and the two tone LCD display shows the type of hazard and proximity.

All new Road Angels include the Laser Detector on as standard.

The Laser Detector Add on can be baught seperately here and simply plugs into the back of any previous road angel bought on its own.

With the ever increasing number of mobile speed detection devices in dangerous speed sensitive areas, Laser Alert gives a visual and audible warning or approaching hazards and speed traps.

DATABASE

Road Angel database is split into four areas, namely Fixed, Mobile, Average and Blackspot. The LCD display shows which area you are approaching and you can also store your own and new locations to any menu area.

You can update the information via your computer and the internet or optional modem

GPS
Utilising the latest Global Positioning Satellites (GPS), a powerful internal aerial identifies the precise location, speed and direction of your vehicle.

ADVANCED WARNING
When approaching a known danger zone, the LCD display turns from green to red and the type of danger is highlighted. The bar counter starts to count up as the danger area gets closer (see pic 1). An audible tone is emitted, the frequency increasing with proximity. Once the location is passed the unit returns to standby (see pic 2).

EASY UPDATES
With the number of speeding cameras set to dramatically increase and accident data changing constantly, Blackspot Interactive are constantly working to verify new locations and delete obsolete ones. These changes are easily updated to your ROAD ANGEL with the supplied software. The first year of updates is free of charge with an annual subscription thereafter of £49.

PERSONALISATION
The standard settings can all be user adjusted. New locations can be stored, current locations deleted, warning range and volume adjusted or muted and various other features.

Whats in the box:

1x Road Angel Detector Unit
1x Cigarette Lighter Power Supply
1x Mains Adaptor
1x PC Com Port serial cable for downloading the database

Fair comment.

I'll just keep it then

Tho just looking on Ebay now, there are about 6 for sale, 3 = £345 buy it now prices + postage, the others have all not hit reserve, so I think my price is right, considering the unit has only been intalled for 1 week today.
