Certainly are - just a shame I never use 'em.
Some joker's emailed me asking what the PSX-R is, and then offered me £150 for the whole lot (amp, PSX-R, and speakers) - claiming that you can get 'quality' amps from Richer Sounds for £150.

hmmm 733s, nice. I have the 732s, such a great pair of speakers.
the 733s must put out plenty of power especially thru that cyrus
I bought mine when i worked at Currys in 1996. just wish i could have afforded the matching 73 series subs that went inline with the 732s.
think i'll be keeping my eye on these auctions

i am that joker!!
doesnt matter what quality it was in 1986, it is electical and still likely to fail at some point
all i was saying is that you can COULD go out and buy separates with warranty now and £350 for a product that could fail at any time is a fairly risky business, hence the low offer.
who cares whether it has a flux capacitor or a super turbo power supply it is old, has no guarantee that it will work and therefore warranteed a low offer.
dont be offended, its a buyers market!! i am sure you will get your asking price of somebody, just not me!
best of luck

LOL. Fair point, Cactus jim. But as I mentioned offlist, you're forgetting that to buy something of this quality with a warranty right now would set you back the best part of a grand. And whilst there's the slimmest possibility of something going wrong, the fact is that it's fairly unlikely - solid-state electronics are usually DOA or work for years and years.
Like you said though, it's a buyers' market, so I may well not sell them at that price. We'll see. :-D

I have the Cyrus2+PSX and they're still going strong after 16 years (apart from 2 internal fuses-80p). Partnered with Mission 764's, my local dealer (Sevenoaks) reckons I'd have to spend over £1500 on a better amp, and over £2000 to better the speakers. To be honest, the best upgrade I could do is move house to give them a bigger room. Good luck with the sale, such a shame your not enjoying them anymore.
