All the usual Type-R extras including waterspray, adjustable central diff control, lightweight wishbones, short ratio Group N gearbox, etc.
The car has had all the interior removed including rear seats, carpets, headlining, etc, as well as the air-con, air bag and all wiring, etc, and seat belts.
The car has had the following modifications:
Interior:
Six-point FIA approved Safety Devices bolt-in cage
Plumbed-in and hand held fire extinuisher system with external activation handle
Battery cut-off system with external activation handle
Lamco 3 gauge centre pod
Lamco boost gauge pod
Momo steering wheel
Gear shift indicator light
MG/GSE style roof vent with drain pipe
Motordrive FIA approved seats
TRS FIA approved six-point harnesses
Terratrip Professional Intercom system with practice headsets
Map pockets on door cards
TOAD Cat 1 remote alarm/immobilizer system
Exterior:
Spax RSX Sprint suspension adjustable for height and dampening
EBC drilled and grooved disks all round with EBC Red front pads
Goodridge Braided brake lines throughout
Brake Servo bracket
Power Engineering uprated ECU (spec. unknown)
Samco hoses for air system on engine
AP Racing paddle clutch
Scoobysport front downpipe (de-catted)
Jamex centre and rear box
Aluminium checkplate sum guard
Bonnet pins
The car was used as a road car and for sprinting last year winning the class. It has always been run on Super unleaded or Optimax with octane booster and has had an oil change after every event.
It is currently in Sonic Blue with the rear of the car sprayed white. The car may require touching up as there are a few holes to fill and some damage to the paintwork following the removal of sponsors and championship stickers.
The car is not currently taxed or MOT’d but this can be arranged for test drive purposes unless trade plates are used.
The car would be sold with the following:
3 sets of 4 x 16” Subaru alloys (1 set gold and 1 set white (both MY99) with good tyres and 1 set silver (MY2000) with no tyres)
Spare front valence/bumper in white
The original Sti front downpipe
Am looking for sensible offers around £14/15,000 for this car. It does need a little tidying but this is purely cosmetic and will cost very little. This is a seriously quick version of the Type-R and is unbeleivable to drive.
