Argh! I still want it if it'll fit mine ok (think it will, arent the dawes all the same for all marks of impreza)?

Dawes will fit any car, but responds better on some cars than others.
I had one fitted to my old 94 Type RA and the difference was massive
You just need to set it up properly, make sure you monitor the AFR, boost, and knock, and don't get too greedy.
